Our Humanitarian Journey Begins in Cambodia
On Friday the 14th of November, our learners will embark on a Humanitarian journey in Cambodia. This journey reflects the very heart of our value of thinking like global citizens.
At Unity Grammar, we actively engage with both our local and international communities, collaborating with others to promote peace, sustainability, and fairness for our planet. This journey is a living expression of that commitment.
Over the course of the trip, our students will work alongside local villagers on a range of meaningful projects, including:
- House bricking and rendering to create safer living spaces
- Painting and panel sheeting to restore and enhance community buildings
- Concreting essential pathways and structures
- Building vegetable gardens and chicken farms to support long-term food sustainability
- Delivering language education to primary-aged students in local schools
These experiences not only allow our learners to contribute directly to the wellbeing of others, but also open their eyes to different ways of life, strengthening their empathy, resilience and global awareness. Through service, they begin to understand the profound impact young people can have when they step forward with purpose and compassion.
