From 2027, we are introducing a structured Quran memorisation pathway at Unity Grammar. Each school day begins with the Book of Allah and continues into strong, purposeful learning.
We are now accepting Expressions of Interest for Junior School learners in Year 3 - 6 and Senior School Learners in Year 7-10.
Senior School learners will attend Quran school in the morning before continuing their academic learning through Unity Online.
The Program
The Unity Grammar Quran School is designed to make Hiz of the Quran achievable without asking families to choose between memorising the Quran and a strong, well-rounded education. Learners begin the day with Quran in a focused, structured environment, then continue into their usual academic learning.
Our Quran school is built on accuracy, revision, tajwīd, adab and a lifelong love for the Book of Allah.
Junior School | Year 3 to 6
Junior School learners in Years 3–6 are eligible to enrol in our Quran school. Learners begin each school day with a focused Quran memorisation block before continuing into their mainstream Unity Grammar timetable. This pathway gives learners protected time for memorisation, revision, tajwīd and individual listening, while keeping them fully connected to the academic, social and co-curricular life of the school.
Senior School | Year 7 to 10
Unity Grammar is inviting Expressions of Interest for a proposed Years 7–10 Quran School pathway. In this model, learners would begin the day with Quran memorisation and revision before continuing their academic studies through Unity Online. This pathway is designed for senior school learners who need a serious Quran memorisation environment alongside a structured, flexible academic program. Final details will depend on family interest, learner suitability, staffing and operational planning.
How It Works
The Quran School is built around one clear principle: begin with Quran, then continue into learning.
Morning Quran School
7:00–9:30am | Monday to Friday
Learners begin the day with a focused Quran memorisation block in small groups. This time includes new memorisation, individual listening, revision, correction and tajwīd.
A typical morning includes:
- Arrival and preparation
Learners arrive before 7:00am, ready and settled to begin with the right intention. - New memorisation
Each learner works on their daily portion, with their teacher guiding accuracy and tajwīd. - Individual listening and revision
The teacher listens to each learner, corrects gently, and checks that earlier memorisation is holding. - Transition to learning
Learners move calmly into the next part of their day.
Continued learning
For Junior School learners, the day continues through the standard Unity Grammar timetable from 9:30am.
For the proposed Years 7–10 pathway, learners would continue their academic learning through Unity Online in a structured online school environment.
Why our Quran School Works
Every part of the Quran School is designed to protect what matters most: accurate memorisation, consistent revision, close guidance and a lifelong connection with the Quran.
Quality before speed
Quality before speed
Memorisation of the Quran is an amānah (a trust). Learners are supported to progress with accuracy, tajwīd, revision and confidence, rather than being rushed toward a fixed deadline.

With a 1:7 teacher-to-learner ratio, every learner is known and supported. Teachers provide daily individual listening, gentle correction, careful revision monitoring and early support when needed.
A pathway for every learner
A pathway for every learner
Learners begin from different starting points. The Foundation, Accelerated and Itqān pathways help each learner build fluency, strengthen memorisation and continue into long-term retention.
A partnership with families

The school provides teaching, structure, correction and tracking. Families help protect the conditions for memorisation through punctuality, sleep, daily revision and encouragement without unhealthy pressure.

Not necessarily. Learners begin from different starting points. Those who need to build first may begin through a Foundation Hifz Pathway focused on fluency, confidence, tajwīd and revision.
No. Real progress depends on readiness, attendance, revision, tajwīd, home support and each learner’s own pace. Targets are adjusted to protect quality and retention.
The small-group structure allows teachers to notice early and respond with care. Targets can be adjusted and support can be put in place. There is no unhealthy comparison between learners.
Short, consistent daily revision at home makes an enormous difference. Families are asked to support home revision and help create the calm conditions needed for memorisation.
Completion is a beautiful milestone, but it is not the end. Learners continue into Itqān and consolidation, with a focus on accuracy, secure retention and a lifelong relationship with the Quran.
