Board Appointment
Asalam Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
We are pleased to share an update regarding Unity Grammar's continued growth and governance.
As Unity Grammar matures as an institution, our work remains anchored in a clear and enduring vision: our learners are pioneers of the future, inspired by our Islamic faith and driven to achieve for the betterment of humanity. This vision continues to guide every aspect of our development as a future-focused Islamic educational institution.
Board Appointment
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Danny Mikati to the Unity Grammar Board.
This appointment comes as Unity Grammar strengthens its governance to support the next stage of development. Danny brings a distinguished record of service across policing, education, and community leadership. A former Sergeant of the NSW Police Force, he was awarded the Commissioner's Medal of Courage and oversaw educational programs across 77 primary and secondary schools, leading teacher responses to child protection matters and youth intervention programs. Since transitioning to the corporate sector, Danny has served in senior leadership roles including CEO and Chairman in the education and training sector, and currently serves as Chief Executive Officer at AusRelief, an Australian humanitarian aid organisation.
I extend my sincere gratitude to our current Board members for their ongoing dedication and stewardship since the inception of Unity Grammar. We will continue to serve alongside Danny as we collectively guide Unity Grammar through its next chapter of growth. We are confident this expanded governance structure will enhance the Board's ability to steward Unity Grammar responsibly into the future while remaining faithful to the founding vision.
We thank our educators, families, and wider community for their continued trust and support as Unity Grammar grows with purpose and conviction.
